As you have probably noticed by now, I am not a sports enthusiast or sports anything for that matter. So getting excited for the Super Bowl is a struggle for me…especially since Reggie Bush isn’t playing this year…extra sad face.
Anywho, since I won’t be paying attention to the game, I will have to keep my radar on for the commercials…I know, typical woman response.
Since I have a duty as a blogger to report on all the celebrity cameos, I must watch the commercials diligently for any celebrity spottings and share the news with my people.
Here is one commercial I am super pumped for:
Another and more obvious reason to be excited for tonight’s spectacle is for the musical acts. While everyone is talking and wondering what the hell Madonna will be doing to piss off the church this year, I think everyone has forgotten about another singer attending the event…It’s Clarkson, Bitch.
Kelly Clarkson will be singing the National Anthem this year! After Xtina f’ed it up last year…I’m really nervous for Kelly, but I have the upmost faith that she will kill it. I mean she has already sang the infamous song at a Cowboys game and did a tremendous job. Point Clarkson.
That is all. Kari out.
Rihanna released her sixth studio album “Talk That Talk” Nov. 21, 2011. Let me tell you…I was pumped.
When Rihanna releases an album, she typically talks about the important things in life. For example, Umbrellas, S&M and the dangerous game of Russian Roulette…all important factors in my life, as they should be in yours. Needless to say, I was looking forward to the wisdom of her sixth CD.
The first track released off this album was “We Found Love” = superb choice. While the song is upbeat, the lyrics tell a different and sad story. As for the music video, it showed the masses that RiRi is still in pain. I feel bad for the Chris Brown look-a-like…do you think he gets heckled on the street?
Side note: I’ll see you in hell Chris Brown!
When the album was released, I like to chose the songs that should be released as singles. I was seriously campaigning for “Talk that Talk” ft. Hova and was slightly disappointed when I heard “You Da One” playing on the radio a few days ago. Sad face.
After going through a period of denial, depression and recovery, I’ve have accepted “You Da One” as the second single, but realized that I don’t have to like it.
My goal with this post is to start an Internet movement/revolution in order to get “Talk that Talk” ft. Hova as the third single off RiRi’s album.
Here are some reasons why:
- It features Mr. Hova
- You can play this song extremely loud in your Honda and look like a boss
- Rihanna taught me how to count from 1 to 4…thanks boo
- Jay-Z says the word “pee”
- Rihanna chants at the end…and who doesn’t love a good chant
Favise Lyrics: “I’mma get it right on the first try for you” (As do I Rihanna, as do I ).
Rihanna – I know once you read this, you will be convinced to release “Talk That Talk” as your third single. All I ask in return is to be featured in the music video. I’ve been working on my Pop, Lock and Drop It and I think I’ve finally hit the nail on the head. See you on set girl!
This song is perfect to blast in your car and cruise around town. People will look at you and think one of two things: “What a BAMF” or “What a fool.” It’s hit or miss. I think it depends on what kind of whip you’re cruising in. If it’s a Honda, you will be a designated BAMF, I know from experience.
When I first saw what Young Jeezy looked like, I was kind of surprised. He’s not what I pictured in my mind. Don’t get me wrong, I would say yes if he asked me out. (hint, hint)
As for R. Kelly, I think we all know the trouble he’s gotten himself into in recent years. I also read that he is dealing with foreclosure issues and had emergency throat surgery earlier this month. R. Kelly released a statement saying, “Yo what’s up, y’all, it’s your boy Kellz, fresh out the hospital. Just want to say thanks to my fans for supporting me. I want to say thanks to all the prayer warriors out there for supporting me.” You can check out the actual video of R. Kelly speaking this message. He sounds like he’s having a rough time using his words. Could that be because of the surgical mask he’s wearing?
Anywho, I hope Kellz gets better to, one day, reunite with Young Jeezy. They do come up with some great beats together. My favises lyric in this song is “Ima Stay Thuggin Till Da Feds Come Get Me.”
